1 Day Basic Power Systems Training

Empire’s basic standby power generation is a one-day high-level overview of basic power generation operation. Learn how generators are tested and maintained in compliance with NFPA 110 and Joint Commission (Life Safety) requirements.

3-Day Advanced Standby Power Training

3 Day Advanced Power Systems Training

In addition to the basic standby power training, we offer an advanced course. Empire’s advanced standby power generation training is a 3-day course that details engine, generator and transfer switch operation, recommended maintenance schedules, basic trouble shooting, electrical and mechanical safety procedures.

Registration: $849 per person | Fee includes course presentation materials, refreshments and lunch.

What to Wear

Safety glasses and hearing protection, if required, will be provided. No shorts, tank tops, or open toed shoes allowed. All cotton clothing is recommended. Remember, these are hands on courses, so please plan and dress accordingly.

Cancellation

All cancellation requests must be made in writing. Full refunds will be issued up to 7 days prior to start date of course. Cancellations requested less than 7 days prior to start date will be assessed a 50% cancellation fee. Empire reserves the right to cancel or change the dates of any training course due to insufficient enrollment. If cancelled by Empire all registration fees will be refunded or applied to another scheduled date.
