The bill, Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century (MAP-21) (H.R. 4348), keeps transit spending at current levels through September 2014. Arizona Caterpillar dealer Empire Southwest joined leaders of the Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) in applauding the bill’s passage. The AED, a national organization with chapters throughout the U.S., has sought reauthorization of the nation’s surface transportation programs for more than four years.
