While operators can see in front of them when working, it is difficult to always monitor around and behind them. The Cat® Vision System with Surround Vision technology kit is an effective solution that uses up to four external cameras and an in-cab display to improve the operator’s view of busy jobsites.

PROTECT GROUD WORKERS

Cameras increase awareness of blind spots and jobsite activities to help reduce accidents and maximize productivity.
Machine movement prompts front and rear cameras to show optimal views on the display.
Cameras help minimize on-the-ground personnel, reducing labor costs.
The in-cab display allows operators to easily see from all sides of their cab without twisting, increasing comfort and productivity.

HOW IT WORKS

The Cat Vision System with Surround Vision technology kit provides operators with simultaneous, top-down views from the front, rear, left, and right cameras.
The surround vision kit features a high definition, touchscreen monitor (480p x 800p) to display both top-down views from multiple cameras and a separate, dedicated camera view.
Each camera harness features 2-wire ethernet that provides fast, high-density data transmission from the camera to the display.
The display allows for simple configuration and customization to get the most desired view possible.

DEDICATED CAMERA VIEW

The monitor displays top-down views of the front, rear, left, and right cameras on the right side of the screen. The left side of the screen displays the dedicated camera view.
The dedicated camera view is automatically determined by machine movement.
The image from the rear camera is displayed when the operator places the machine in reverse.
The image from the forward camera is displayed at all other times.
The operator can configure the monitor to show the dedicated camera view at full screen.

HIGH COMPATIBILITY

The universal camera can be retrofitted on all brands of equipment – ideal for mixed fleet use.
The complete system can be installed in about four to six hours, plus one hour for each additional camera, on any closed cab machine with a 12V or 24V system.
Each surround vision kit includes one (1) high definition, touchscreen display and up to four (4) digital cameras. Harnessing to connect the components is also included.
The kit is designed to function without the need for additional technologies.

RETROFIT YOUR MIXED FLEET

The universal Surround Vision kit can be retrofitted on all brands of equipment, making it ideal for mixed fleet use.
The camera system can be installed on any closed cab machine with a 12V or 24V system in four to six hours, plus one hour for each additional camera.
