Cat Card Rewards are issued as Cat® Credits. A complete set of rules is in Appendix A of the Customer Agreement below.
Rules Governing Cat Credits (US and Canada)

- Cat Credits may be used to purchase parts, service, sales, rental and work tools at a participating Caterpillar dealership or Cat Rental store or at any other Program Vendor (see your Cat Card Customer Agreement for definition) under the Cat Card Rewards Program in the country of issuance. New machines may not be purchased with Cat Credits.
- Cat Credits may not be used to purchase items for personal, family or household use.
- Customers will have a set amount of time to use the Cat Credits from the date of its issuance. The issuance date is stated on the face of the Cat Credits electronic certificate.
- If Cat Credits are part of a Rewards redemption, the credit will expire one year from the date of issuance.
- Expiration dates on Cat Credits may vary. Please check the e-certificate details to determine the applicable expiration date. Once the Cat Credits e-certificate has expired, unused funds are inaccessible. Cat Credits cannot be extended.
- Cat Credits, whether earned from Rewards or granted through another customer incentive, may not be used towards satisfying balances on any indebtedness held by Caterpillar Financial, or any of its affiliates or subsidiaries including CFCAC.
- Cat Credits e-certificate holders not redeeming the full value of their Cat Credits by the expiration date of such credit will not be eligible to recover the unused funds.
- Cat Credits, whether earned from Rewards or granted through another customer incentive, are not to be applied towards dealer house accounts (CFCAC reserves the right to charge back for these transactions).

- Cat Credits e-certificate holders might be required to verify their identity by Cat Financial, a Dealer or other Program Vendor by providing photo id, supplying information about the commercial owner of the e-certificate or by providing any other information deemed necessary to minimize the risk of fraud.
- Dealer or any other Program Vendor may require that any person who represents that he or she is an authorized representative of the Cat Credits owner to provide identification and/or proof of authorization.
- Cat Credits can only be used to purchase in the country of issuance.
- While Caterpillar makes reasonable efforts to minimize opportunities for fraud relating to Cat Credits e-certificates, it cannot be liable for thefts of e-certificates caused by security breaches. Cat Card Rewards Terms
Welcome to the Cat Card Rewards Program Website. Your continued access or use of the Cat Card Rewards program (the “Program”) means you have agreed to be bound by and comply with the Program terms contained in the Customer Agreement for Cat Financial Commercial Account and Cat Card Rewards Program (the “Customer Agreement”), which includes Appendix A (Cat Card Rewards Terms), and incorporates by reference the details in this Program Website (collectively, the “Terms”). For your convenience, a copy of Appendix A is found below. Capitalized terms used on this Program Website but otherwise not defined shall have the meaning given to them in the Customer Agreement. The Terms include a dispute resolution process. The Terms may be modified, cancelled, or amended from time to time in Caterpillar Financial Commercial Account’s (CFCA’s) sole and absolute discretion by posting revised Terms to this Program Website. Your continued participation in the Program is deemed your express consent to be bound by any revised Terms. If you do not agree to the Terms, please do not participate in the Program. The Program is void where restricted or prohibited and subject to limitations as required by applicable law.
What is the Program
The Program is a trade rewards program through which eligible participants (“Participants,” “you” or “your”) can earn and accumulate Cat Card Rewards (“Rewards”) beginning on May 3, 2021 Participation in the Program may not be used to further personal, family, or household interests or matters. The Program, as of the date of its launch, offers the chance to earn one percent (1%) Rewards on Qualifying Purchases (as defined below), and each seller of Qualifying Purchases is a “Program Vendor”.
Eligibility
Accountholders are eligible to participate in the Program, subject to the following exclusions:
- Managed Account Customers*
- Any Participant deemed ineligible by CFCA in accordance with the terms of the Customer Agreement
- Program not offered to sole proprietors in Quebec due to restrictions under Quebec law
- Additionally, the following limitations apply: Special Services Recipients** can participate but are limited in their redemption opportunities. Special Services Recipients are only eligible for redemption of Rewards for Account statement credits, because of the complexities of their billing needs and their engagement of CFCA to assist with those.
- Authorized Users (as defined in the Customer Agreement) can create transactions which generate Rewards, but Authorized Users may not redeem Rewards
If an Accountholder becomes a Special Services Recipient or a Managed Account Customer, after previous participation without such status, such Accountholder becomes subject to the exclusions and limitations associated with the change in status.
*Managed Account Customers are Accountholders who have a special managed account relationship with one or more of Caterpillar Inc.’s industry support groups. For more information, please contact your Caterpillar representative. If a Managed Account Customer is also a Special Services Recipient, the Managed Account Customer status governs for their eligibility under the Program.
**Special Services Recipients are Accountholders which have engaged CFCA to assist with their complex billing needs, including
- Creation of customized statements
- Creation of account set ups to mirror Accountholder’s customers’ billing needs
- Assisting Accountholders with dispute resolutions with their customers
- Meeting special reporting needs
Registration/Becoming a Participant
Accountholders are automatically enrolled in Cat Card Rewards and can participate if eligible at the time of enrollment or if they become eligible at a later date. Accountholders must provide certain information to participate, so that the Program can be administered. If you do not wish to provide the information required, please do not participate. One of those requirements is a valid, contact email address for the business.
How to earn Rewards and definition of Qualifying Purchases
Rewards are earned on Qualifying Purchases made in accordance with the Terms. “Qualifying Purchases” are purchases of parts, service, sales, rental and work tools at a Caterpillar dealership or Cat Rental store or other Vendors in the country in which the Accountholder has its principal place of business. New machine purchases are not Qualifying Purchases. Such Rewards are accrued at the time of purchase. Rewards are either redeemed or expire in accordance with the Terms.
Rewards cannot be earned or accrued on the redemption of a Cat Credits electronic certificate. Rewards Accrual Opportunity
Rewards are earned at a rate of 1% of the total spend (in local currency) for Qualifying Purchases when made with the Cat Card.
Example 1: If a U.S. Accountholder spends $2500 on their Cat Card when purchasing parts at a participating Caterpillar dealer, the Accountholder has earned 25 Rewards.
Example 1a: If a Canadian Accountholder spends CAD $2500 on their Cat Card when purchasing parts at a participating Caterpillar dealer, the Accountholder has earned 25 Rewards.
Example 2: If a U.S. Accountholder spends $1500 on their Cat Card when purchasing parts at a participating Caterpillar dealer, the Accountholder has earned 15 Rewards.
Example 2a: If a Canadian Accountholder spends CAD$1500 on their Cat Card when purchasing parts at a participating Caterpillar dealer, the Accountholder has earned 15 Rewards.
In Example 1 & 1a, the Accountholder has now reached the redemption threshold of 25 Rewards.
Rewards, Redemption and Cat Credits
For any Participant, Rewards will accrue to a redemption threshold of 25 Rewards. A Participant can view and redeem the accrued Rewards via MyCatFinancial.com, unless the redeeming Participant is a Special Services Recipient in which case redemptions are initiated by calling customer service as set forth on MyCatFinancial.com.
Rewards are redeemed on a first in/first out basis.
Rules governing Cat Credits are found on this Program Website.

Participants accrue Rewards over the course of a year with a system measurement of the Rewards Account balance posted in January each year (“Rewards Measurement Date”).

Participants can redeem Rewards, as follows:
- If Participant is not a Special Services Recipient, the Rewards can be redeemed for Cat Credits to be used for Qualifying Purchases in the future.

On the Rewards Measurement Date, any, Rewards Account balance below 25 are carried forward to the new annual cycle but Participants should be aware that all Rewards carried forward each expire three (3) years at the end of the month of the date earned.
Rewards Expiration
As described above, as long as your Account is active and in good standing, the Rewards you earn in the Program will either auto-redeem in accordance with these Terms or expire after three (3) years at the end of the month of the date earned. Rewards Forfeiture
If Participant closes their Rewards Account for any reason and has a positive Rewards balance of not less than 25, Participant will have 180 days from the time of closure to redeem the rewards. All balances below 25 shall be immediately forfeited at the end of the 180 day period.
Auto Redemption
Participants who achieve the 25 rewards threshold and have not yet redeemed will be subject to an annual auto redemption. The annual auto redemption will take place in January of each year and will be based on the Rewards Account with balances of 25 Rewards or greater. The full balance will be redeemed as of the Rewards Measurement Date.
Negative Balance
If Participants return goods on which they earned Rewards, the Rewards balance shall be adjusted. Customers who are in the negative Rewards balance status will carry this status forward until they have utilized their Cat Card and earned their balance into a positive status.

Additional Terms are expressly incorporated into these general terms by reference. If you return an item for which Rewards were awarded, the Rewards earned on that Qualifying Purchase will be subtracted from the Rewards balance at the time of return.
Dispute Resolution
Dispute Resolution Procedure. If you disagree with a Rewards transaction on your Statement, you have the right to dispute that transaction. If you elect to dispute a transaction, within 30 days from the Due Date of the first Statement on which the transaction appears, you must (i) give us notice of your intention to dispute such transaction, which notice describes the basis for your dispute in reasonable detail and (ii) supply all documents and other materials and information supporting the basis for your dispute. Once you have notified us of the disputed transaction and complied with both clauses (i) and (ii) of the prior sentence, we will contact the Vendor identified with such transaction, and that Vendor will, within a reasonable time, either correct the transaction to your satisfaction or supply us with information validating the transaction. You agree that we may share with the Vendor all the documents and other materials and information you provided to us. You must provide any information reasonably requested by the Vendor or us and must cooperate and respond to the Vendor or us in an effort to resolve the dispute. We have the right, but not the obligation, to investigate and discuss the matter with both parties without the presence of the other party and, after such investigation, to make a determination as to whether the transaction and related charges are valid. In the event we determine that the transaction is valid, you agree to abide by the result and, if you are not in agreement with the outcome of the inquiry, you can withdraw from the Program. The Program dispute resolution otherwise is governed by applicable provisions in the Customer Agreement.
Appendix A
Cat® Card Rewards Terms
AGREEMENT TO PROGRAM TERMS: Your continued access or use of the Cat Card Rewards program (the “Program”) means you have read, understand and agree to be bound by and comply with the Program terms (“Terms”), set forth herein and set forth in more detail on the Program Website, cat.com/catcardrewards. The Terms include a dispute resolution process. The Terms may be modified, cancelled, or amended from time to time, in CFCA’s sole and absolute discretion, by posting revised Terms to the Program Website. Your continued participation in the Program is deemed your express consent to be bound by any revised Terms. If you do not agree to the Terms, please do not participate in the Program. The Program is void where restricted or prohibited and subject to limitations as required by applicable law.
What is the Program
The Program is a trade rewards program through which eligible, registered participants (“Participants”, “you” or “your”) can earn and accumulate Cat Card Rewards (“Rewards”). Eligibility for participation is set forth on the Program Website along with details about how a Participant can redeem Rewards and/or exclusions and limitations applicable to the Program. Accountholders, as that term is defined in the Cat Financial Commercial Account Customer Agreement, are eligible to be a Participant in the Program, subject to published exclusions and limitations.
Intent of the Program
Participation in the Program may not be used to further personal, family, or household interests or matters. The Program, as of the date of its launch, offers the chance to earn one percent (1%) Rewards on all qualifying parts, service, sales, rental, and work tool purchases at a Caterpillar dealership or a participating internal Caterpillar business unit or other participating vendor (such purchases are “Qualifying Purchases”, and each seller of Qualifying Purchases is a “Program Vendor”). A current definition of “Qualifying Purchases” will be maintained on the Program Website.
How Cat Card Rewards Work
Rewards are earned on every Qualifying Purchase made in accordance with the Terms. Such Rewards are accrued at the time of purchase. Rewards are either redeemed or expire in accordance with the Terms.
Your Agreement
Each time you access and/or use the Program, you agree to be bound by and comply with the Terms and any Additional Terms (as defined below). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, please do not participate in the Program and/or formally exit the Program. The business realities associated with operating the Program are such that, without the limitations that are set forth in the Terms, such as your grants and waivers of rights, the limitations on our liability, your indemnity of us, and our arbitration of certain disputes, we would not make the Program available to you.
In some instances, there will be a promotion or opportunity made available to you, and new terms (applicable to such offerings) will be posted (the “Additional Terms”). To the extent there is a conflict between the general Terms and any Additional Terms, the Additional Terms will govern.
You agree that CFCA can enroll you automatically in the Program using the details supplied in connection with your Account. Specifically, your primary email address and contact details will be used to establish the Participant’s record in the Program. Participant will use MyCatFinancial.com, or another designated system, to monitor Rewards accrual and to take action. Authorized Users can earn Rewards that will be added to the Participant’s Reward balance, but they are not permitted to redeem Rewards.
CFCA’s Discretion
The Terms may be modified, cancelled, or amended from time to time in CFCA’s sole and absolute discretion by posting revised Terms to the Program Website, and your continued participation in the Program is deemed your express consent to be bound by any revised Terms. If you do not agree to the Terms, please do not participate in the Program or use the Program Website.
Handling of Returns
If you make a purchase and return the merchandise, certain rules will apply in order to prevent unjust Rewards from remaining with Participant. See the Program Website for a complete explanation. If you make a return, be aware that a redemption having occurred prior to return could result in a negative Rewards balance.
Important to Know
Program Vendors are subject to change.
Dispute resolution for the Program will be handled in accordance with the “Dispute Resolution” provisions on the Program Website.
Once accrued Rewards in your Rewards account have been redeemed, they cannot be added back into the account.
Unless specifically noted, redeemed Rewards are not refundable, exchangeable, replaceable, redeemable, or transferable for cash, credit, or other rewards under any circumstances.
By redeeming Rewards, you release CFCA and its parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any and all liability regarding the redemption or use of Rewards or other participation in the Program.
We reserve the right to modify or cancel any Reward at any time. Fraud or abuse relating to the accrual or redemption of Rewards may result in forfeiture of Rewards as well as cancellation of your Account and/or your Rewards account.
The determination of tax liability (as may be applicable) arising out of the accrual, conversion, or redemption of Rewards in the Program shall be Participant’s sole responsibility.
