Empire provides a two-day training class for service personnel to gain knowledge and develop skills on diesel engine fuel systems.

• Importance of fuel quality
• Mechanical governor operation
• Diesel engine performance curves and adjustments
• Different mechanical fuel systems
• Pump and Line, including scroll type, sleeve metering, distributor, nozzles & lines
• Mechanical Unit Injectors
• Function of electronically controlled fuel systems
• Mechanical Electronic Unit Injection (MEUI)
• Hydraulic Electronic Unit Injection (HEUI)
• Common rail fuel systems

While Empire instructors teach on Cat equipment, the knowledge gained from the course can be applied to other heavy equipment manufacturers.
