Event Details

Empire offers a two-day training course designed for service personnel to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to identify components and features of oval and elevated sprocket undercarriages. Participants will be able to identify the demands on today’s track type machine undercarriage and will perform a maintenance inspection in class.

  • Function of the track and roller frame components
  • Undercarriage inspection and maintenance process
  • Value of proper undercarriage CTS inspections and wear management

 

While Empire instructors teach on Cat equipment, the knowledge gained from the course can be applied to other heavy equipment manufacturers.

      • Identify the types of undercarriage designs.​

      • Explain the undercarriage inspection and maintenance process.​

      • Explain the value of proper undercarriage CTS inspections and wear management.

      • Safety glasses and steel-toed boots or shoes are required. No shorts, tank tops, or open toed shoes allowed. All cotton clothing is recommended. Remember, these are hands on courses, so please plan and dress accordingly.

        • All cancellation requests must be made in writing. Full refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the start date of the course. Empire reserves the right to cancel or change the dates of any training course due to insufficient enrollment. If canceled by Empire all registration fees will be refunded or applied to another scheduled date.
