Diesel Engine Systems Training
Event Details
Empire’s two-day training course is designed for service personnel to gain knowledge and develop skills on Caterpillar diesel engines.
What You Will Learn:
- Caterpillar engine history and models
- Diesel engine combustion theory and diesel engine structure
- Function of the block, crankshaft, cylinder heads, pistons, rings, and liners
- Fundamental engine disassembly and assembly
- Operation of
- Valvetrain, gears & camshaft
- Air inlet and exhaust system
- Lubrication system
- Cooling system
While Empire instructors teach on Cat equipment, the knowledge gained from the course can be applied to other heavy equipment manufacturers.
