Event Details

Empire’s two-day training course is designed for service personnel to gain knowledge and develop skills on Caterpillar diesel engines.

What You Will Learn:

Caterpillar engine history and models
Diesel engine combustion theory and diesel engine structure
Function of the block, crankshaft, cylinder heads, pistons, rings, and liners
Fundamental engine disassembly and assembly
Operation of
- Valvetrain, gears & camshaft
- Air inlet and exhaust system
- Lubrication system
- Cooling system

While Empire instructors teach on Cat equipment, the knowledge gained from the course can be applied to other heavy equipment manufacturers.

WHAT TO WEAR

Safety glasses and steel-toed boots or shoes are required. No shorts, tank tops, or open toed shoes allowed. All cotton clothing is recommended. Remember, these are hands on courses, so please plan and dress accordingly.

Empire reserves the right to cancel or change the dates of any training course due to insufficient enrollment. If canceled by Empire all registration fees will be refunded or applied to another scheduled date.
