Lower Powertrain and Brake Systems Training

Event Details

Empire’s two-day training course is designed for service personnel to gain knowledge and develop skills on lower powertrain systems. This includes drivelines, axles, differentials, final drives, brakes, and undercarriage.

What You Will Learn:

Operation of drivelines
Operation of axles and differentials
Purpose and operation of final drives
Overview of air brakes
Overview of hydraulic brakes
Track-type tractor steering systems
Function and wear of undercarriage systems

While Empire instructors teach on Cat equipment, the knowledge gained from the course can be applied to other heavy equipment manufacturers.

WHAT TO WEAR

Safety glasses and steel-toed boots or shoes are required. No shorts, tank tops, or open toed shoes allowed. All cotton clothing is recommended. Remember, these are hands on courses, so please plan and dress accordingly.

Empire reserves the right to cancel or change the dates of any training course due to insufficient enrollment.
