Empire’s two-day training course is designed for service technicians to gain knowledge and develop troubleshooting skills on heavy equipment electrical systems.

What You Will Learn:

Review of the fundamentals of electricity
Schematic reading
Electrical test equipment
Ohm’s Law
Batteries
Starting and charging systems
Connector repair
Caterpillar Monitoring Systems (CMS)

While Empire instructors teach on Cat equipment, the knowledge gained from the course can be applied to other heavy equipment manufacturers.

WHAT TO WEAR

Safety glasses and steel-toed boots or shoes are required. No shorts, tank tops, or open toed shoes allowed. All cotton clothing is recommended. Remember, these are hands on courses, so please plan and dress accordingly.

Empire reserves the right to cancel or change the dates of any training course due to insufficient enrollment. If canceled by Empire all registration fees will be refunded or applied to another scheduled date.
