Empire’s full-day training course is designed for service personnel to gain knowledge of the navigation, operation and features of the Cat SIS 2.0 and Electronic Technician (ET) programs. By the end of the course, attendees will have a deeper understanding of the programs to locate disassembly and assembly procedures, machine specifications and parts information, as well as use a computer interface with the electronically controlled machines to diagnose and troubleshoot systems. Attendees should have a valid Cat CWS password to be able to login to SIS.

Cat ET

• How to hook up the ET service tool to a machine
• How to download a Product Status Report
• How to look up diagnostic codes and event codes
• How to monitor status parameters
• How to use the data logger
• How to perform service calibrations
• How to perform service tests such as:
• Cylinder cutout test on the engine
• Wiggle test to check for broken wires
• Emissions System tests if equipped
