This full-day course is designed for service personnel to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to perform correct preventive maintenance procedures. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to identify the demands on today’s machines, fluids, filters, cooling systems, batteries, engines, powertrains and hydraulic systems.
What You Will Learn:
Explain the purpose of preventive maintenance
Demonstrate a preventive maintenance inspection
Ascertain the proper fluids and filters for compartments
Explain the properties and functions of fluids and filters
Properly test and service the cooling system
Properly test and service batteries
Properly test the starting and charging systems
Inspect and adjust/replace belts and hoses
Demonstrate proper procedures for obtaining oil samples
Correctly interpret S.O.S. sample results
Define contamination control
Classes are open to Empire clients only.
Class fee is $562 per person and includes classroom, course presentation, training materials, computer-based training, refreshments and lunch.

What to Wear:
Safety glasses and steel-toed boots or shoes are required. No shorts, tank tops, or open toed shoes allowed. All cotton clothing is recommended. Remember, these are hands on courses, so please plan and dress accordingly.
All cancellation requests must be made in writing. Full refunds will be issued up to 7 days prior to start date of course. Cancellations requested less than 7 days prior to start date will be assessed a 50% cancellation fee. Empire reserves the right to cancel or change the dates of any training course due to insufficient enrollment. If cancelled by Empire all registration fees will be refunded or applied to another scheduled date.
